Hi there! Finding it hard to find time for blogging at the moment but finding some time now for a bit of as sea themed look I had on for our long weekend by the coast recently. I quite liked the idea of doing a simple style with two shades of the same colour and thought the Uber Chic Seashells Aplenty plate would be perfect. I started with two layers of lilac, and then stamped the images over the top in a metallic dark purple which didn't look as metallic when stamped. I'm pleased with how these came out. They were easy to do but look good and lilac is a flattering shade. Only improvement would be a better non-smudge top coat!

Taco's for Mental Health Week!
Hey everyone! Posting these way later than planned as I seem to be low on time for nail art and blogging at the moment. This look was some slightly belated nail art for Mental Health Awareness week, which is now very belated, though I'm still wearing it. I've wanted to use this wording for some mental health nail art for some time so I'm glad to finally do it.
I started with two coats of pale blue on all nails, then moved onto the taco print and some metallic blue nail polish. All images used are from Uber Chic's Lets Taco Bout It stamping plate. Next I moved onto the wording spread across my middle two fingers. I used black stamping polish and thought the nails looked a bit empty so I tried adding some blue wording around them which worked out well. I finished the look with a glossy top coat though unfortunately managed the smudge the wording which was so annoying!
Overall I'm really pleased with these, I think they look like the sort of wrapping you'd get around your food at a really nice takeaway. Only annoying thing is the smudging, although at least it's on the wording about falling apart sometimes so kind of works!

Daisy Daisy Daisy
Aloha! Some very Spring themed nail art to share today. This look has been on my nails for just over a week now. It's been a busy time and my blogging has been lagging behind a bit! There's even been less nail art but I'm looking forward to doing my nails again this weekend.
This is a look I'd been meaning to try for a while, with a couple of Cirque Colors newish sheer polishes which I purchased recently. I started of three coats of sheer polish on each nail - using a different colour for each hand. Next I used white stamping Polish and Mo You London's Festive 58 stamping plate to add the daisies. It was a little time consuming as I was using the same image so many times but worth it I think! I then used a dotting tool to add the yellow pollen, and finished the look with a glossy topcoat.
I'm enjoying this look, it's very Spring/Summery and goes with a lot of things. I also wore it for my friends beautiful wedding in an orchard in Herefordshire. It was very fitting for the scenery and the lovely weather and will remind me of it when I look at the pictures :)

Alpaca Walking Nails
Hey everyone! Got some rather fun nail art to share today :) A few weeks ago my sister got married. It was a beautiful day! A week before hand she had her hen do which involved alpaca walking. It was so much fun and they were so cute! I decided to do some themed nail art for the occasion. I've included a picture of the nail art with the alpaca I was walking, Truffle. He was such a cutie and liked plodding along at the back of the group.
I decided to go for something really vibrant for this look so used some pastel neons from the Bring On Spring collection from Wikkid Polish. I created decals for three of the nails, you can see how here. On the other two I added some spots and funny wording - all images are from Mo You London's Animal Collection 19 stamping plate. I really love the image with the colourful necklace on - such party vibes!
Really pleased with how these came out, they're so fun and were just right for the occasion!

A Birthday Cactus
Hello there! Going to keep this one short and sweet much like the chubby little cactus on my middle fingernail. I was invited to join a collaboration on Instagram for StephyClaws Birthday so chose this design to recreate. It meant getting some classic polishes out to use and I like the fun summery colours and theme. I used two coats of each colour and three of the metallic polish and create a decal for the blue nail. The image is from Mo You London's Hipster 16 stamping plate and I'm really pleased with the colours I used for it. They give it quite a cartoony vibe I think.

Marble Marvel
Hello all and happy Sunday! I had an annoying start to the day but the afternoon and evening have been good! Today's nail art is for the Glam Nails Challenge prompt of marble. I decided to take it easy and go with a stamped look with a stamping plate I haven't used in a while. I decided to go for blue as I love it, but added a little gold to add some interest.
I started with a base of pale blue and then added the thin lined marble image from Mo You London's Explorer Collection 33 stamping plate an a slightly darker blue. I then added the thicker image in darker blue over the top on three of my nails. I tried to change the positions of it across my nails so it didn't look to uniform. On the ring finger and thumb nails I added the final image in gold instead. I followed up with a careful top coat to avoid smudges and then a matte top coat for the final effect.
I like these. Though they may not be as striking as the butterfly ones from my previous post they have a simple and stylish end result I think. I think the best marble nails are the hand painted ones but these are not a bad alternative and a lot quicker!

Butterfly's All Over
Hi there! I'm pretty late posting this, bit pretty tired lately and busy with work etc. I did this freehand butterfly nail art for the Glam Nails Challenge butterfly prompt and followed a tutorial on Instagram. I decided to go for a bit of a skittle effect with different Barry M Under The Sea toppers.
I started with a couple of coats of neon pink, and then a couple of coats of shimmery topper on each nail (colours listed below the pictures). Once dry I used a striping brush and black nail polish to add the lines. I then used the brush from the polish bottle to fill in the area at the top of each nail. I then used a dotting tool (two different sizes) to add the white spots over the black. I finished the look with a glossy top coat.
I'm honestly so pleased with how these came out! If I'd known how nice they'd be I'd have done them for my sisters wedding at the weekend! I had a cobalt blue dress so they would have gone nicely. I have quite quickly ended up with some tip wear on the black but it can easily be patched up. Would definitely try this look again :)
